Ingredients:

For the smoothie base:
• 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
• 1 frozen banana
• 2 tablespoons almond butter
• 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
• 1 tablespoon chia seeds
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

For the toppings:
• Fresh berries
• Granola
• Coconut flakes
• Sliced almonds
• Chia seeds
• Drizzle of almond butter
• Fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

1. Add frozen berries, frozen banana, almond butter, almond milk, and chia seeds to a high-speed blender.

2. If using protein powder, add it now.

3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides. The almond butter is key here - its natural fats and protein create that luxurious, thick consistency that makes this bowl spoonable rather than drinkable. The consistency should be thick like soft-serve ice cream.

4. Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
